This is the day that we knew our lives were going to change in a BIG way! After 9 months of heavy TTC and 100mg of Clomid and Metformin, I saw the 2 pretty pink lines....I ran and grabbed my digi test that I have been saving (those suckers are expensive!) and waited again...."PREGNANT" omgomgomgomg, "Really?!" I thought?

And now we have this precious little girl that we have waited so long for. We would have TTC sooner however hubby's radiation treatments prevented us from doing so....but I think it was all perfect timing.
I love my little family with every fiber in my body!

finding it harder to leave for work

I battle with myself every morning that I have to leave Kaitlyn to go to work. Unfortunately we HAVE to have a 2 income household...we're used to living a certain way of life and so that's what we've decided to do. But I hate that I leave so early that I can't say good-bye or get any playtime in (She is a sleeper!! Goes to bed at 9pm and wakes up about 8am!)
So I don't get to see her till 6pm! I feel guilty that I pay someone to watch her and then feel extra guilty about the amount of time I spend with her. I have her with me 100% when I'm home trying to make up for lost time...but somehow it never seems like it's enough.

Do you ever feel this guilt with your children? Whether you are a working mommy or SAHM?

We had such a blast yesterday! The weather was amazing in the high 60's! We went for a few walks in the park and went to mommy's appointment and played photo shoot for awhile. Kaitlyn was an angel ALL day long and was awake the entire time!
I hate coming to work because I know it's going to be forever till I see her again...but when I do she always greets me with the biggest smile she can manage...mommy loves you Kaitlyn!

Went to the Chiropractor today!

And why haven't I gone sooner! Since Kaitlyn was a month old I have been having such horrid back spasms that brings me to my knees and leaves me throwing up for hours. (sorry for the visual) I have been having them off and on now and decided to see what I can do about them.
So I went to see Dr. Conrad today and he was amazing! I never heard so many "pops" and "cracks" come from my body before! I walked out of the office today feeling like a million bucks!
I have appointments again on Friday and Monday and cannot wait to go again!
Now I'll be able to carry Kaitlyn around and love on her without worrying if I'll get another spasm afterwards.

I'm so ready for warmer weather! Yesterday was beautiful here at 55 degrees and sunny! I finally got the chance to take Kaitlyn to the park =) Poor thing had no idea what the sun was, she kept squinting the entire time but had fun I'm sure. Here are a few pics from our day of fun!

Why do I love the Month of March you ask?

March means so much to me. March is the month that my husband was diagnosed with cancer and the month that we'll be celebrating 3 years of a clean bill of health and cancer free! I love you baby!
March is also the month that I found out I was pregnant with Kaitlyn. March 28th, 2009...I still remember that morning so clearly! I woke up at 5:00am to get ready for work and decided that I needed to test because "something" felt different. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 9 months with no luck and I was on my last few months of Clomid. So I tested with a dollar store "cheapie" test and the line was there....def there but very light. So I grabbed the digital test and again waited...and waited and there it was, "Pregnant"!
I flew out of the bathroom and ran to our bedroom where my sleepy husband slept and pounced on the bed with tears running down my face. My husband flew out of bed screaming, "What's wrong? What's the matter, did you hurt yourself? Why are you crying?!" and then I held up the test and showed him how are lives have changed forever.
So this is why I love the month of March. =)
